About Truth & Prosperity

You were made for more than a small story.

There is an old word for what your life is actually for. The Greek Fathers called it theosis, becoming, by grace, what God is by nature. To be transfigured. To grow, across a long obedient life, into the image of Christ.

This is the oldest purpose of a man’s life, and it has become the best-kept secret of the modern age.

Truth & Prosperity exists to help you recover it.

Who this is for

You built the life you were told to build. The career. The marriage. The house. By most measures, you are doing well. You provide. You show up. You look competent from the outside.

And somewhere in the quiet, you carry a question you cannot shake. Is any of this going to matter when I am gone?

You are not lost in the dramatic sense. You are lost on a map you were handed, walking confidently in a direction that does not lead where you were made to go. You sense it. You cannot name it. And every voice around you is telling you to keep going.

This is for you.

What we stand against

The cult of self.

It is the lie of the modern age, that your life is your own. That your years belong to your preferences, your comfort, your personal brand. That you are the protagonist of a story authored by you and accountable to no one beyond yourself.

It is the water. It is the air. It trains a man to consume. It hides from him the thing he was actually made for. And it kills him slowly while telling him he is winning.

The data is not subtle. Men die from despair, suicide, overdose, and drink, at more than three times the rate of women. Researchers who tracked the rise of these deaths found that it started before the opioids. It tracked the emptying of the churches. The men who stopped showing up to worship started dying faster.

The cult of self is what produces the noise, the distraction, the restlessness, and the hollow. Truth & Prosperity exists to help you name it, walk out of it, and build the life you were actually made for.

Who I am

I am Christopher Clay.

I am a husband to Stephanie, a father of four, a grandfather. I follow Christ in the Eastern Orthodox Church at St. Nicholas parish. The Fathers shape my days. My wife is my rock. My children carry the work forward. That is the resume that matters here.

For the record on the worldly side: I have spent decades as a chief financial officer in healthcare, built a multi-million-dollar organization, and am inducted into the West Virginia Executive Healthcare Hall of Fame in 2026. I mention it once and set it down, because the world’s definition of a man’s success is exactly the thing I want to help you outgrow.

I have had the title, the turnaround, the numbers that make people nod. And I have still laid awake asking whether I was building anything that would outlast me. Blessing does not silence that question. Sometimes it sharpens it.

I cannot hand you meaning. No man can. But I can show you how to build a life, a household, and a legacy on a foundation that has held for two thousand years, with the practical discipline of someone who has built real things in the real world.

The work

Truth & Prosperity revolves around four pillars and one direction.

Faith. Worship, prayer, the Fathers, sacramental life. The pillar the others depend on.

Family. Marriage, fatherhood, household leadership, the discipling of children.

Finance. Stewardship, generational wealth, debt, money as servant not master.

Legacy. What outlasts you. The integration of the other three.

One direction: from Consumer to Patriarch.

A patriarch worships, disciples, stewards, builds. Four verbs. He is not loud. He is not performing. He is not selling anything. He is the man on whom the next hundred years of his family will rest, and he knows it, and he is at peace with the weight.

That is the man this work exists to help build.

The plan

Three steps. That is the whole plan.

One. Subscribe to Truth & Prosperity. You will get the Legacy Audit immediately, free, and one diagnostic essay each week. No funnel. No upsell. No daily emails. One letter, one week, written for men who want their lives to mean something.

Two. Take the Audit. Sit with the twelve questions. Be honest. Send it to one man who needs it.

Three. Read with me every week. The work of building a legacy death cannot take is not done in an afternoon. It is done over years of sitting with hard questions and living differently the next morning.

What you can expect from me.

One letter a week. Written, not generated. Honest, not performative. Grounded in Scripture, the Fathers, and decades of building real things in the real world. No fake urgency. No selling your email to anyone.

What I will not do.

I will not flatter you. I will not pretend the road is easy. I will not coddle. I will not waste your time, because you have less of it than you think.

What is at stake

Without this work, you will spend forty years building a number on a screen and leave your family a tangle of logins they cannot find. Your wife will spend her best years married to your calendar instead of you. Your sons will become the man you actually are, not the man you tell them to be. The question that has been haunting you in the quiet will be answered. And the answer will be no.

With this work, you will steward instead of accumulate. Your wife will know, without you having to say it, that she is the most important person on earth to you. Your sons will have a man worth imitating. You will leave behind something death cannot take. The question will be answered differently. Yes. Because you spent your years on the only things that ever do.

He is being transfigured, slowly and quietly, into the man he was made to be.

That is the man Truth & Prosperity exists to help build.
